  1. Platform initiated transfer with Instant Account Verification (best for low fee)
Why it’s great: The easiest way to fund your new PEX accounts is to use a Instant Account Verification via Open Banking Providers to connect your business bank account. Once you have funded your PEX account you can easily issue and fund team member and vendor cards.  How it works:

Log in to your PEX admin dashboard

Go to Transactions > Make a transfer

Click Link Bank Account (*one-time set up to link with our open banking provider)

Follow the prompts to securely connect your business bank account with Instant Account Verification via Open Banking Providers

Choose your funding amount and submit. Funds typically arrive in 1-2 business days
✅ Same-day transfer (may include a small fee from your bank) ⚡ Fast, secure ⛔ No cost from PEX 2. Wire transfer – (best for speed) Why it’s great: Ideal for high-value or urgent funding needs. Wires can often settle the same day, usually within a matter of hours. How it works:

Log into your business banking portal

Choose Wire Transfer

Enter the wire instructions listed in your dashboard (Accounts > Funding Instructions)

Send the wire

Confirm the transfer is completed (Transactions > Make a Transfer) and funds are available in your PEX account
⚡ Wires can arrive same-day if sent before the cutoff time ⚠️ PEX does not charge any fees for incoming transfers 💰 Some banks may charge a fee for outgoing wires 3. Bank initiated ACH transfer (best for bank control)  Why it’s great: You initiate the transfer directly from your business bank account—perfect if you prefer handling payments outside of PEX. How it works:

Log into your business bank’s online platform

Select Send ACH Payment

Use the PEX account and routing numbers found in your dashboard (Accounts > Funding Instructions)

Schedule and send your transfer
💡 ACH transfers typically take 2 business days depending on your bank ⛔ No cost from PEX Still want another option? Micro deposits (best for scheduled ACH) Why it’s great: Micro deposits give you an extra layer of control on transfers but may take a little longer to settle so be sure to plan ahead if you choose this method. Once the bank account has been added using the micro deposits method, log in to your PEX admin dashboard. How it works:

Go to Transactions > Make a transfer

Select Standard ACH Transfer

Choose your funding amount and submit
