Please note that the date change is immediate, but is not retroactive and will not apply to previous statements. Only future statements will reflect the new date. You will not see duplicate transactions, or transactions that appear on two statements. Depending on when you change the statement date, you may end up with a statement that covers activity for less than 30 days, or more than 30 days. For example: If you change the statement date on May 5 from the default of the 1st of the month to begin on the 28th of the month, the next statement will be generated on May 28 and would cover all transactions from May 1 to May 27. The following statement would include all transactions between May 28 to June 27. In comparison, the April statement covered all transactions between April 1 and April 30. If you change the statement date on May 31 from the default of the 1st of the month to begin on the 28th, the following statements would include all transactions between May 1 and June 28 (because the May 28 cutoff date has already passed).
Please note:Changing the statement start date will also change the start date for all cardholder statements.
